  • Shawn O'Connor — Founder & CEO

    DWUS was founded by Shawn O’Connor who serves as the firm’s CEO. Shawn has extensive experience as a successful founder, business executive, and adolescent thought-leader. Shawn launched Stratus Prep, a global tutoring and admissions counseling firm, in 2006. Over the next eight years, he grew the firm which served students in over 40 states and 50 countries. Since then, Shawn has been researching the needs of today's adolescents and teaching hundreds of graduate students at Harvard University over the last five years. Shawn has a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa), an MBA from Harvard Business School (Highest Honors), and a law degree from Harvard Law School (cum laude).

  • Dr. Susan White — Clinical Director

    Dr. Susan White is DWUS’ Clinical Director, the Professor and Doddridge Saxon Chair of Clinical Psychology, and the Director of the Center for Youth Development and Intervention at the University of Alabama. Board-Certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, Dr. White is a Fellow of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), the American Psychological Association (APA), and Division 53 of the APA, the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (SCCAP). Dr. White is President-Elect of the Society for the Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP), and the 2021 recipient of the SSCP Distinguished Scientist Award.

  • Luke Albertson — Chief Operating Officer & Chief Information Officer

    Luke is a Harvard graduate, a technologist, and a strategic advisor for health care and education companies. At Mazzy, Luke leads daily operations and oversees the development of Mazzy’s proprietary, gamified platform. Luke previously founded Madison Tutoring and Madison College Prep, test-prep and college admissions firms that he grew for 7 years before selling to a strategic buyer.

  • Benjamín Solís — Chief Financial Officer

    Benjamín comes to DWUS with a storied background as a manager at transnational companies focused on revenue planning, productivity, and cost control. Benjamin holds an MBA with focuses on client relations and productivity. At DWUS, he track cash flows, engages in financial and strategic planning, and oversees all investment and budgetary activity and compliance.

  • Mandy Grant — Director of Healthcare Strategy & Marketing

    Mandy has decades of experience in healthcare strategy and administration. She currently heads strategy and compliance for the healthcare aspects of DWUS, recruits top-notch therapists, and supports daily operations. Mandy previously served as the Associate Dean of Strategic Planning, Operations, and Assessment at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Mandy has a career of experience in rural healthcare administration. She holds a B.A. from the University of Maine, Farmington, and is completing her graduate degree in management from Harvard.
